The moving of your belongings will be managed by a team appointed by HDLP. They will be experienced relocators who will be involved in all aspects of your move back to Uku Apartments.

No, all packaging materials (boxes/bubble wrap/packing paper) will be supplied.

Of course it is up to you if you prefer to pack certain items, but the relocations team are here to pack all pre-determined items on your behalf.
If you do choose to box up any fragile items, if any damage occurs during transit to your new apartment due to insufficient packaging and the items becomes damaged, then responsibility for this will sit with you

Please have a think about what you will need while you are in your new apartment. There will be an initial meeting with to go through your belongings to decide which, if any items will remain behind.
We recommend you pack any valuable items yourself such as jewellery and Passports

Depending on the size of the apartment, we will allow a full day for each pack and move. For larger apartments it may be necessary to pack the day before the move day.

Based on the programme timeframes which Haydn & Rollett have outlined, relocation of residents back to Uku apartments will hopefully begin in October 2025 or early November 2025 once defecting, handover to the Body Corporate and formal documentation is complete. Further updates will be provided on the logistics and process of this handover well in advance so residents can start planning their return.

Items that will remain in your apartment can be covered with plastic to prevent dust etc. Doors to other rooms such as bathrooms and cupboards should remain closed to prevent dust travelling into them.

We ask that you please make arrangements for your pet to be cared for elsewhere on pack/move day.

No, the cost of this will be covered

Yes, absolutely.

Extreme care will be taken when handling your belongings however accidents can happen. In the event of a breakage, we will arrange for repair or replacement

You will need to let your insurance company know that you are temporarily relocating so your contents cover can be updated to reflect the change.

No, all costs associated with the relocation to your temporary apartment will be covered

Access to the Mail Lobby is closed. We recommend updating your address with your bank, car registration, and any other important institutions that send you mail. Once you return to Uku, you can update your address back to the original.
